Group Staff

Group 2 covers the eastern portion of the mainland side of the State of Maryland.

These squadrons are in Group II:

• Arundel MD-023 (Composite Squadron)
• Glenn L. Martin MAR-MD-031 (Composite Squadron)
• Granite MAR-MD-879 (Cadet Squadron)
• Harford MAR-MD-008 (Composite Squadron)
• Towson MAR-MD-013 (Composite Squadron)

Lt Col Eric Tiso assumed command of Group 2 mm dd yy. 

Capt. Michael Higgins assumed the Group 2 Deputy Commander position on April 1, 2024.

Support of Group 2 includes:

Capt. Olivia Higgins, Cadet Programs Development Officer

Capt. Olivia Higgins, Emergency Services Training Officer 

As of April 2024, Group 2 has xxx cadets and yyy Senior Members. These volunteers serve their communities and the nation through the core missions of Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services.  

Civil Air Patrol members actively train to work with other emergency service agencies and are ready to serve when circumstances demand.
